We're in the northern Catskill Mountains, bordering the Hudson River Valley, 2-1/2 hours from Manhattan, one hour from Albany, or one hour from Kingston.

We find that GPS directions can often take you ways we'd never dream of suggesting to you!

Here's my best directions:  Get yourself to the blinking red light at the junction of Rt. 145 and Rt. 81 (Cooksburgh).  Go west one mile into the hamlet of Potter Hollow (on the extension of Rt. 81). In the hamlet, take the right fork at the Cotter Equestrian Center on to Scott Patent Road (Rt. 362).  Go just over 3 miles, mostly uphill.  Our yellow farmhouse is on the right.  Parking lot on the left.  As you travel up Scott Patent Road, the name of the road changes to Broome Center Road (Rt. 61), but it is not an intersection, just a county line.  We are at 989 Broome Center Road.  You found us!  Welcome!
