You may see these prehistoric looking grey birds that travel in packs and never shut up, roaming anywhere on the farm. The head is white with a horn and big red ears. We have them to control the fly, flea and tick populations, but they could earn their keep as entertainment. We do not sell them for meat, though we understand they are quite tasty!
We capture some of the keats and eggs to raise ourselves, to insure survival of some.
The mothers are fiercely protective, but can't count. They lose their keats as they take them on walks
