Honey

                 We attribute our honey’s success to the fabulous abundance of mountain wildflowers, heirloom apple blossoms, wild thyme, wild berries, and heather we have growing on our farm. We’ll take a little credit for our special care to work with our bees in as natural a way as possible and we offer our honey raw, retaining as much of the special flavor and health benefits as we can.

                 Our pure raw honey is harvested twice in a season. We can offer our golden, summer wildflower honey and our richer, darker fall heather wildflower honey. We also make a variety of specialty products, like an Irish-style lemon honey and honey-nut toppings. Our honey and beeswax go into soaps and candles that we make here on the farm.

                 Carol is very involved in the Catskill Mountain Beekeepers Club. She also keeps a hive for demonstrations at the Mountain Top Arboretum in Tannersville, New York
