Our meat birds are a Cornish cross breed, raised out on pasture while soaking up the sunshine. The pastures are surrounded by electrified high tensile perimeter fencing, which a subdivided by portable electric netting. The chickens safely hunt for bugs and worms, eating lots of grass as well as the grain mix that supplements their diet. Inside the netting are portable huts that we move every day onto fresh grass, and lock the chickens in at night for protection against predators.

We grow meat chickens from April through October, so that we can have a fresh weekly supply all season. Normally. This year, with Covid 19 and disruptions in the food chain, we are raising extra birds and they are selling as fast as they are processed. Please be patience.
